How to join
Becoming a full member of Palo Alto Ski Club takes one to two years. Our membership process involves participation in social events, meeting other members, and experiencing the lodge. Potential members are invited to contact our Membership Chair to start the process. Generally speaking, here are the requirements:
- Potential members must live within 40 miles of Palo Alto, California.
- Potential members must stay at the Lodge at least three weekends during specially designated qualifying Membership Weekends, held 7-10 times a year.
- Potential members must also attend at least two meetings or parties during the ski year (June-May) they apply to join.
- Once a potential member has completed the above requirements and pays fees for membership and annual dues, that application is considered for membership by the PASC Board.
There is a one time membership fee for joining of $800 for adults and $250 for children. All members pay annual dues every September of $150 for adults and $50 for children. There is a fee of $17 for members and $35 for guests nightly stay at the Lodge. Compared to other lodging options in and around Squaw Valley, this is a great value.
